Thomas R. Merry earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame in 1989. He received his B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 1986. Mr. Merry worked in a large law firm in Columbus, Ohio and was previously a part of the legal department for Bank One Corporation. Mr. Merry concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial bankruptcy, workouts, collections and litigation. He is on the Board of Trustees for Syntaxis Youth Homes, Inc. and has participated in Columbus Christmas in April. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association and The Columbus Bar Foundation. Mr. Merry was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1989, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio in 1990, the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona in 1991, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio in 1994 and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1999.
